About Claudia Copquin

A well-known name in the local bridal industry, Claudia Copquin is the founder and editor of www.GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com and a journalist, author and blogger.

Her background includes ten years as managing editor of Newsday’s Long Island Weddings.  The magazine folded in December 2008, and the following spring she launched this blog to continue providing brides on Long Island with valuable wedding planning information, news, tips and trends.

Claudia is also the co-author of the wedding planning best-seller, “The Bride’s Year Ahead” (Sellers Publishing).
