Lots of LOVE going on in Times Square this upcoming Valentine’s Day!

Here’s the scoop:

On the most romantic day of the year, celebrate love in Times Square where you can meet your perfect match, say “I Do” to your special someone and make your love last forever – all in a New York minute.

For your best gal-pals who are single, Times Square’s “Match-Maker” sculpture, on display February 7 to March 10 at 46th Street and Broadway, Times Square, will use zodiac signs to cosmically connect people this Valentine’s Day. Visitors are asked to arrange themselves at twelve points around the heart-shaped sculpture in order to reveal each viewer’s four most ideal astrological mates, allowing for potentially novel connections between lonely souls or settled lovers. Sculpture designer Young Projects, with fabricator Kammetal, was the winner of this year’s invited competition hosted by Times Square Arts and Van Alen Institute, and sponsored by Snuggle® fabric softener, who is fostering connections between people and making the world a softer place.

For those of you who have already found your true love, there are a range of options. Couples can pop the question on the giant screens, get married at the Crossroads of the World in a once in a lifetime ceremony, or celebrate love by renewing your vows on the Red Steps in the heart of Times Square.  Sign up at TimesSquareNYC.org.

These romantic activities kick off “Free Love in Times Square” – a month-long promotion running from February 1-28 in Times Square filled with steamy offers, special shows, and romantic deals designed to keep love hot during the cold winter months.
