Something New at The Inn at New Hyde Park VENUES

The Inn at New Hyde Park has some exciting news to share with Long Island brides and grooms-to-be:

After 25 years at the Pierre Hotel (formerly the Four Seasons), Executive Chef Tony Salluzzi has returned to his Long Island roots to become Executive Chef at the Inn at New Hyde Park!

Italian born and trained, Chef Salluzzi is no stranger to five-star catering.  His culinary tastings ranged from $200-$1,750 a plate and were enjoyed by New York’s elite and international heads of state, including President Bill Clinton and King of Spain Juan Carlos I.  Al Gore launched his 2000 Presidential Campaign at a dinner prepared by Chef Salluzzi.  Although he comes from the culinary pedigree of serving $46,000 first-course caviar dishes, he feels exquisite meals are not something only the rich and famous should be able to enjoy —  Chef Salluzzi is thrilled with the chance to give wedding couples and their guests something they’ve never seen before.  “People end up loving something they didn’t know they wanted, and I want to give them that,” he says.

So what sort of culinary changes can couples expect?  “I love ethnic variety — Indian, French, Japanese and Sushi.  I’d love to design even more specialty stations…a Peking Duck station with Dim Sum, a Smoked Salmon station with 6 different kinds of salmon…”  But that’s just the beginning.   For more on the exquisite culinary menus The Inn has to offer now, do give them a call at 516-354-7797.
