  • Ian and I met through mutual friends at his niece’s birthday party. We both acted very shy and barely talked to each other that first day we met. Ian called me later that week and we went on our first date on October 20, 2007. As soon as we started talking we hit it off right away and started being boyfriend and girlfriend immediately. It didn’t take long before we were head over heals in love and on November 18, 2007 we finally said the words with the first of many “I love you”s. Through the years we have had our ups and downs like any couple, but more happy times than bad. During this time we became more than just boyfriend and girlfriend we were each others everything. Every day brought something bigger and better and now we have all of these great memories together and are so excited to make many more. On May 16, 2010 Ian took me on a hot air balloon ride in Tampa,FL. We had always talked about doing that one day and I was so excited it was actually happening. Although it was very early in the morning everything set the perfect stage. The sunrise was beautiful and all the pretty colored balloons around us made it one of the best things I’d ever seen. When we were about 3,000 ft up in the air Ian asked me to marry him and there couldn’t have been a happier girl in the whole world. Now we are ready to start a life together and things couldn’t be better. On September 10, 2011 Ian and I will be getting married, we are both very excited to start this new chapter in our lives and spend forever together as Mr. and Mrs. Ian Zilla.
