A Charitable Long Island Wedding Registry MUST READS
If you’d like to give to charity for your wedding but aren’t quite sure how to go about it, check out CharityChoice’s new service, Charitable Wedding Registry. The registry works the same way as standard registries, in that you choose the gift item you wish to receive… choosing the causes that you would like to benefit in honor of your wedding. There are over a hundred charities to choose from, in a myriad of categories: hunger, disaster relief, education, environment, health & disease and animals to name a few.
This makes it easy for your guests to select the charity of your choice, in lieu of a gift (or, in addition to). The gift-giver simply logs onto MyCharitableWedding.org and selects an eCard or eco-friendly physical gift card in the denomination amount they wish to donate.
